If you haven’t got into frozen Bluebs yet, then well, we would recommend that YOU DO!

Blueberries freeze SO WELL that we can’t get enough of them - they are the most sustainable way of eating the best quality Organic goodness all year round.

Frozen Blueberry Facts

SO GOOD FOR YOU!

Blueberries are PACKED with nutrients and are an absolute Superfood.

They contain so many good things including Vitamin C / Vitamin K / Vitamin B6, not to mention their extremely high antioxidant content.

They are often written about being good for helping our: Immune System / Skin Health / Bone Health / Metabolism / Brain Development & Reducing the risks of Heart Disease & Cancer

SO EASY TO FREEZE

Pick your Bluebs here, and then literally just put them in the freezer. No need to wash or do anything complicated.

They don’t stick together and you can pick out one or two at a time if you need just a little shot of goodness every now & again :)

We freeze LOADS and have them to sell all year round in the Flower Barn Cafe.

SO MANY WAYS TO EAT THEM!

& did somebody say, ‘Blueberry Bake-Off’?!

Mrs B’s Blueberry & Lemon Drizzle Cake

Ingredients - Sponge

  • 4x Eggs

  • 260g Caster Sugar

  • 260g Self-raising Flour

  • 2 Lemon rind

  • 100g-ish Organic Blueberries

Ingredients - Drizzle

  • Juice of 3x Lemons & 1x Lemon rind

  • 50g Caster Sugar

Method

  • Mix Sponge ingredients, whizz until fluffy, add 1 tsp warm water

  • Bake for 30mins(ish) 180 deg C

  • Heat drizzle ingredients until sugar has dissolved

  • When cake is nearly done, take out and add the frozen Blubes on top and push in a bit to the surface.

  • Bake for another 5mins then pour over the drizzle and sprinkle with sugar when cooled :)

Mrs B’s Blueberry Flapjack

Vegan & Gluten-free

Ingredients

  • 375g of Stork Original

  • 200g Golden Syrup

  • 200g Soft Brown Sugar

  • 500g Gluten-Free Oats

  • 200g Frozen Organic Blueberries

Method

  • Melt the butter, golden syrup & sugar in a saucepan

  • Mix in the oats

  • Mix in the Bluebs

  • Bake in a lined tin for 30min(ish) 180 deg C

  • Take out when golden brown & cut into squares whilst still hot :)

Mrs B’s Blueberry & Chocolate Brownie

Ingredients

  • 300g Dark Chocolate

  • 150g Stork Original

  • 300g Caster Sugar

  • 100g Self-Raising Flour

  • 3x Free Range Eggs

  • 100-200g Frozen Organic Blueberries

Method

  • Break up the chocolate and melt in microwave

  • Chop & add the butter and heat for 2mons in microwave

  • Add Caster Sugar and heat again for 2mins

  • Mix in the SR flour until dough like

  • In separate bowl, whisk eggs then add to the mixture

  • Pour into a lined tin & chuck the Bluebs in on top

  • Bake for 30mins(ish) 180 deg C :)

Mrs B’s Blueberry Jam

Ingredients Per Jar

  • 200g Organic Frozen Blueberries

  • 135g Granulated Sugar

  • Good squeeze of Lemon juice

Method

  • Bring ingredients to the boil

  • Continue until glossy

  • Pour into sterilised jars

  • Thickens while cooling

  • Be careful - it’ll be HOT! :)

Blueberry Bake-Off!

Two years in and becoming a February Half-Term Annual Event!

Each year we host a very unique Blueberry Bake-Off in support of a different local charity or two. 

Everyone is welcome to join in and there have been awards for all sorts of categories presented by our most fabulous baking mate, Nelly Ghaffar!

Nelly was the star of the show on Bake off a year or so ago and it has been a lot of fun having her over every year for this.

It’s all about having a laugh, getting stuck in and raising money for some fantastic local charities so watch this space with info about our 2027 Bake off coming in the new year…
